January - What's new in the club?
1 February 2023
Finally! England bans single-use plastic packaging
Times change! England has joined the EU, Scotland and Wales to ban single-use plastics.
As reported, England uses around 1.1 billion single-use plates and 4.25 billion pieces such as cutlery every year, with only 10% being successfully recycled after use - but 90% ending up in landfills, and our oceans!
The upcoming ban will be a tremendous step forward toward a zero waste future for both food and beverage packaging, particularly for takeaways, to-gos as well as home and office delivery! Good news: We are already providing a convenient and cost competitive solution across the UK.
